What is Android?
Android is a mobile operating system by Google, based on Linux kernel and specially designed for smart phones. It is a widely adopted open source project named as AOSP (Android Open Source Project). Android is actually a software that allows user to operate their hardware and helps to customize device according to user’s own taste. You will find android not only in mobiles, but in watches, tablets and other portable devices, even in car stereos. Android is offered in combination with google play store which has millions of apps for users. It is not meaningless to say that android is the metaphysical opposite of the iPhone in many ways.
